This chapter is about venturing outdoors with some ideas to help tie together an entire project. We'll take a look at some interesting products that can have multiple uses. That's where your creativity comes in. Take, for example, C-LOC by Crane Plastics. It's an engineered vinyl sheet piling originally designed for use in creating bulkheads for water retention and erosion control. But when I saw the product, I wondered why you couldn't use it as a finish foundation material. Some products, such as vinyl fencing, can add a dynamite look to a ho-hum fence. Best of all, they're maintenance-free and extremely user-friendly. The invisible pavement products provide ground support for an area so vehicles can drive over a grassy area without damaging the grass.

There are a lot of interesting items throughout this chapter, so you should have no trouble finding one or two to help complete your next project. Don't limit yourself and your customers. Be creative and mix products to design an award-winning project. You'll satisfy your current customers, and bring in new ones. It's all up to you and your willingness to use alternative materials.
